SCHOOL EQUIPMENT PROGRAMME
Our first trek from the heart was to conduct a survey of the Nuwakot district in the district of Dhading, a few tens of kilometres from the epicentre of the earthquake of 25 April 2015.
The first school we help is located in Matatirtha in the southwest suburbs of Kathmandu.
2019
FAVORING SCHOOL EDUCATION
Reconstruction is an essential axis of our vocation.
Another area of intervention dear to us is to empower families and private or public bodies, to create favourable conditions for the education of children. We have chosen to diversify our interventions by helping the Secondary School of Matatirtha, in the District of Kathmandu.
EQUIPMENT AND EXTENSION OF THE MATATIRTHA SCHOOL
We financed the end of the outdoor sanitary facility and the equipment of new indoor toilets. The second part of this assistance consists of demolishing old sanitary facilities and developing a variety of sports areas.
2018
PARTICIPATIVE JARDINS AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT IN LECOLE
Léa, Marina and Zoé, three French university students, were interns from March to May 2018 in Matatirtha to set up participatory gardens and animate themes on sustainable development with the children and families of the neighborhood.
We are pleased with this collaboration within our association to bring rich and constructive work to the local population. They will be very invested and will establish a lasting relationship between them, the children and parents as well as the teaching staff of the school.
